now to repeat
Just closed another sponsorship and I want to let you and there is one thing that really made it work out.
But before we get into it, how are you?
It’s been a long week, I’m sure. Are you taking time for yourself as the summer rolls in? Let me know. I need some ideas for where to bring my family.
Marketing ideas for marketers who hate boring
The best marketing ideas come from marketers who live it.
That’s what this newsletter delivers.
The Marketing Millennials is a look inside what’s working right now for other marketers. No theory. No fluff. Just real insights and ideas you can actually use—from marketers who’ve been there, done that, and are sharing the playbook.
Every newsletter is written by Daniel Murray, a marketer obsessed with what goes into great marketing. Expect fresh takes, hot topics, and the kind of stuff you’ll want to steal for your next campaign.
Because marketing shouldn’t feel like guesswork. And you shouldn’t have to dig for the good stuff.

Anyways, here is the fun part, CLOSING sponsorships.
One of the greatest resources I have used over the years is Alex Hormozi’s $100M Offers book. I highly suggest you read it.
But the main thing I learned there is the art of negotiation.
When it comes to sponsorship deals, as the creator you have to develop the skill of determining what a brand actually wants.
There are three main types of campaigns Awareness, Conversion, and Repurposing.
You determine what the brands wants by actually doing something scary… actually hoping on a zoom call with them.
I know that seems scary, but when you do this, the brand can put a face to the name, which builds trust, which allows you to charge more money.
Let’s break down the campaign types:
Awareness
The brand just wants to get their name out there. This is the usual “BetterHelp” type sponsorships.
Conversion
This campaign type is one where the brand ONLY wants sells.
Repurposing
The brand wants to reuse your content for paid ads or for their channel/website/socials.
The not-so-fun part is when the brands do a terrible job at explaining what they want. So you have to be the detective.
But it’s worth the fight because it will build trust with the brand that you know what you are doing.
