đź“– I hate reading

and you should check it out, too!

I hate reading.

I think I had a bad experience when I was growing up, or just my mind works to fast for the “slowness” that is reading.

But something changed recently, and I wanted to make you aware of it.

When I was starting my online business, I wanted to just have my wife quit her job so she could stay home with our newborn son, but the information to do this kind of thing can be hard to find at times.

Yes, there are YouTube videos and such that teach a lot. But I always find that not “all” the information on how to do a task is shared.

There are always a couple of things “left out” for the “bonus program” they want you to purchase.

There are exceptions, but that has been my experience.

Until I started doing something that would change everything for me.

That something was reading books… but not “reading,” actually… It was listening.

I got an Audible subscription and started listening to audiobooks.

The cool thing about audiobooks is you can listen to them at FAST speeds. I usually listen to them at 1.75x. That may seem fast when you are first starting out, but trust me, your understanding will get better, and your mind will catch up.

I used audiobooks to listen to some of the best marketing books in the industry, and I found another one I wanted to share with you.

It’s called Stories Sell, but Matthew D. This is a newer book; it’s only been out for like a year or two, so some of the references in the book are even about the pandemic, which is cool.

This book is very similar to the book I shared with you last week called Storyworthy, by the same author, but this book is geared toward telling stories in the business sense.

Likening life events to how to sell and convince people to buy stuff.
