How to get a sponsor
awesome sauce
So, the cool thing about getting some views on channels is that sponsorship opportunities start to pop up.
And I was just offered one for a 60 second spot on a future video.

So, let me give you a few tips when you get a sponsorship opp…
Don’t worry about views. Your value is more than just your views. It’s your whole package you can bring.
Most of the time, these brands are not that great at marketing. Or at least you know your audience better than they do. You can offer your services in the form of consulting.
Offer to meet with them once a month or provide reporting of what you are seeing within your brand to give them insights on how to further spread their brand.Don’t rely just on “inbound” requests. The best sponsorship deals you can get will come from YOU reaching out to brands.
The best way to do this is to find other channels in your niche and see who they are being sponsored by.
Simply reach out to those places and see if you can broker a deal.
To find emails of the decision makers, don’t just go to their website or find Instagram accounts (they rarely respond). Use LINKEDIN to find people at these companies and a tool called Hunter IO to find their email addresses and reach out.Put together a “package” not just one off video sponsorships.
So when making your pitch, see if they can buy 2 to 4 videos rather than just one. This way you can get a bigger pay day.Be OK with saying No.
Not every brand deal is right for you and your audience. Don’t sell yourself short and do no accept brand deals that make you look shady.
Remember you represent the people you are creating content for. Don’t lose their trust by promoting a brand that is garbage.
So these are a few things that I have been doing and think you should take advantage as well.
Have you had a sponsor reach out yet? How did you manage it?
