Have you been bombarded with advertisements from this YouTube Guru and That YouTube Guru talking about YouTube Automation?

I have, too.

And it seems like they all have a $500 to $2000+ course to pitch to you.

Let me give you a spoiler alert… don’t buy any of them.

Now, I won’t lie; I have my own products that I promote as well, like the within the Your Extra Paycheck Mastermind. (btw, you should join; big things happening there, and a new (free) course dropped)

But even so, I’m not trying to take all your money selling snake oil.

I am subscribed to a few side hustle newsletters and they all seem to promote the same products. Maybe it’s just a testament to how tight-knit our community actually is.

But come on! The last YouTube Automation course I saw cost $900.

Seems to me that the people really making money with YouTube automation are the course creators.

For example, this is essentially what YouTube Automation is…

  1. Find a low-competition niche on YouTube

  2. Directly COPY ideas of “what’s working” on YouTube

  3. Use AI or outsource on Upwork/Fiverr nearly all of the creation and editing of the video

  4. Post the video and HOPE it goes viral

But what a lot of them won’t tell you is that their are usually more “misses” than “hits”. Which means you will likely spend a lot of money outsourcing the videos just for the channel to flop.

Dar Lucey has an absolutely fascinating video about it right here: https://youtu.be/mJld3pDws_c?si=hbu3oKNP27ERVJWT

There are tons of examples of channels that have been abandoned and just taking up space.

The reality is, you need money to create these “faceless” channels and just hoping to make money from YouTube Adsense is a bit misguided as it is not the most sustainable revenue in the world.

So what should you do?

This is the ultimate example of the same script with a different cast. I’ve been in this game since 2015 and the same types of people are creating these courses, taking the money and running.

Leaving you out to dry.

Since we are a bunch of side hustlers here trying to make an extra buck, I want you to be careful who you give your money to.

Don’t fall in love with a product and buy it regardless. Make sure it’s legit and you can get some help (preferably live help) in a community setting.

More people are having success with getting help along the way rather than just buying a course, hoping it fixes all their problems.

Sorry for the rant, but just looking out for you.
