❣️ Easy Hustle Changed FOREVER
my fav hustle just changed forever
Welcome to the end of another week. Are you doing something that will generate more funds?
I just launched a new YouTube channel because I am now addicted, but another thing that I like to do is hustle with newsletters.
My favorite place to run a newsletter is Beehiiv. (Try it free up to 2500 subscribers)
And they just made a huge change that is both a good thing and a bad thing.
2025 Prediction: A Surge of Self-Serve CTV Buyers
Roku predicts that 2025 will be a breakthrough year for self-serve CTV advertising. Roku Ads Manager makes it easy to integrate CTV into your 2025 marketing mix. Easily segment your target audience, optimize campaigns in real-time, and drive conversions with interactive ad formats and shoppable ads with a Shopify integration. The way that Beehiiv’s paid portion of their newsletter used to be PPC (paid per click). So if I included an ad (like the Roku one above) I would get revenue anytime I got a “unique click” meaning someone that is real.
That click is usually $1.50 to $3.00 per click.
That is good... but if no one clicks, You get NO revenue.
I’ve had some emails that I’ve made over $100 or more per email sent. And then others where I only made $1.
Now, Beehiiv just announced a CPM model. If you are not familiar with a CPM model. It’s more getting paid per 1,000 impressions.
This is good because now you can get paid REGARDLESS of clicks or not. It’s very reminiscent of Google blogs and SEO.
But it’s bad because if you have a small list, it’s not going to work out well at all. You will get prorated charges, too.
But big plays! So if you have an email list that gets 20k opens per send on a $5 CPM, that is $100 guaranteed with each email send.
The consistent revenue is refreshing, but again, you need a large list.
I’m actually excited about it.
From a sponsorship standpoint, you usually make (and can charge) more money on “awareness” goals. This means that just by getting the name out there, you can charge more money.
I have already gotten a few CPM sponsors so far (not this email), but I’m looking forward to testing it out with this list and others I use.
